Our Story, Your Brand.

What started in a family garage in 1992 as a humble hustle selling pre-printed wearables quickly stitched its way into something bigger. Inspired by an embroidery demo at a 1994 trade show, Stitch King Embroidery was born—with one 2-head machine and a lot of ambition.

By 1996, we’d outgrown the garage and moved into a real production space. Fast-forward to 2013: we became SK Group Inc., offering screen printing, digital heat transfers, wide-format printing, and full-service copy/print solutions. In 2014, a new chapter began as we proudly became a 100% woman owned and led company.

Since then we have kept growing and expanding. First moving into the world of custom online stores, while modernizing again with a new heat press, the amazing addition of a DTG printer and fast track embroidery production line. Here we are all the way in 2025, who knows what is coming next for SK Group!

Community Minded

SK Group is a community-minded company that believes in giving back by supporting organizations that improve the lives of the people of Sault Ste. Marie. We are also firm believers in the sporting community as it teaches participants to work as a team, be self-sufficient, as well as fostering a healthy lifestyle.

We have always been a strong supporter of the co-op programs at the high school, college and university levels. We've had many students work with us to get experience in the work world, some who have gone on to become long time employees. This is an invaluable tool to bridge the gap between education and the work world and we are happy to be a part of this program.
